A little about me.
My name is Joseph, but my mom wanted to name me "J.C." when I was born. My dad hated it and they settled on "Jace" as a nickname. It stuck. I had this name before it was cool.
I grew up in Sebastopol, California, although I was born in South Lake Tahoe and lived in a few other places. Despite growing up in the California wine country, I prefer French wine.
I went to school at the University of Nevada, Reno, and majored in philosophy. When the opportunity to join a friend's video game studio arose in my final year of college, I couldn't say no, so I moved to San Francisco.
Since then I've been a production assistant, producer, lead producer, project manager, and a paid consultant. I've managed over two dozen people, read quite a few books, and realized that I'm best at supporting other people.
I've also become part of a global lifestyle thanks to my significant other's position with the State Department. Since we move around every few years, I've transitioned into doing my job 100% remotely - thanks, Internet!
When I'm not working I like to spend time with girlfriend, Laura, and my dog, Cinnamon. I'm an amateur cook (thanks, mom) who owns too many kitchen gadgets. I also dig video games, archery, milk, bowling, board games, and probably anything else that's super nerdy.
